Families Without Fear

The Families Without Fear Project is a Brent based charity, providing a programme of individual counselling and group work for men and women dealing with domestic abuse in the North West London area. We provide::

The Abuse Intervention Programme for individual and group support programmes for men and women who are being abusive or violent
The Survivors of Abuse Support Programme for women and men who are experiencing violence and abuse in an intimate relationship
Research and Evaluation to develop effective new ways of tackling domestic abuse and share experience and expertise with others.

We aim to help the abuser to stop being violent and abusive.

We operate a policy of confidentiality.

The Key Objectives of the Families Without Fear Project are:

to reduce the occurrence of Domestic Violence, by working educationally and therapeutically with perpetrators
to support perpetrators of family abuse who express a desire to change, by helping them develop the life skills needed to maintain safer relationships
to offer support and services to partners and ex-partners in order to increase their choices and well-being. The safety of survivors of abuse, women, children, and men is our first priority and fundamental to our work.
